1956 1958 Hometown Wheeling, W Va Played with him in high school. Last I knew he was living in New Orleans and had a bar named Basin St. Lounge. I think that went out of business. Does anyone remember Sam Leever, pitcher for Pittsburgh Pirates in the early 1900's? I have looked at many web sites but cannot see if he had a jersey number. He lived across the road from my grandparents at Goshen, Ohio until his death in about 1953.... read more
